Mornings start at 30A Bagels and Coffee, the town center's wake-up counter. Provisioning runs through Seacrest Sundries Market for the staples and Waterhouse Provisions and Bottle Shop for the better-than-necessary bottle to carry back to the porch. Dinner is a two-horse race we refuse to referee: LaCo, the Latin-coastal room, against Ticheli's Italian Pizza, the family-owned oven. The after-dinner tier runs deeper than a town this size deserves: Peddlers Pub and the Kickstand Bar hold the pavilion end, and Beach and Brew on 30A pours as the taproom, dog-friendly per the county bureau, which makes it the whole family's stop in the most literal sense. Then the institution: Crabby Steve's Bar and Gulfside Restaurant, which 30A.com notes is reached from the sand rather than the street. The Sweet Peddler closes the night, candy and ice cream for the stroll, and it rents bicycles too, because this town center believes in multitasking.
When the night wants a bigger stage

Rosemary Beach's town center runs one direction and Alys Beach's dining the other, both an evening stroll along the paved path, and sleeping in Seacrest means doing those nights without a car key.
